Joshua D. Grill, PhD, is a Professor of Psychiatry & Human Behavior and Neurobiology & Behavior at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He is the Director of the Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (UCI MIND) and the Associate Director and leader of the Outreach, Recruitment, and Engagement Core for the UCI Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (UCI ADRC). Nationally, he is the co-leader for the Internal Ethics Committee and the Recruitment Unit for the Alzheimer’s Clinical Trial Consortium (ACTC), a clinical trial network funded by the National Institute on Aging. He also co-directs the Institute on Methods and Protocols for Advancement of Clinical Trials in ADRD (IMPACT-AD), a novel clinical trials training program funded by the National Institute on Aging and the Alzheimer’s Association. Dr. Grill’s research focuses on the design and conduct of Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials.
